Leslie Haas is past president and co-founder of the “Eat Smart, Live Longer” club in Sun City Hilton Head in Bluffton, SC where she enjoys helping individuals embrace the concept of a healthy whole foods, plant-based lifestyle, and along with it, an exciting new world of fresh flavors and vibrant health. As a certified “Food for Life” cooking and nutrition instructor for PCRM (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine), she has taught courses in Cancer Prevention and Survival, Diabetes Treatment, Weight Management and more. Leslie has also earned eCornell’s Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition by the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and is a familiar face as staff with the annual “Holistic Holiday at Sea” vegan cruise.
